Personas
Personas let you showcase different sides of yourself on your profile. Each persona is a collection of tags that describe a particular aspect of who you are -- making it easier for others to find common ground with you.
What is a persona?
A persona is a themed tab on your profile built from tags you select. For example:
- Dating -- Share your gender, relationship status, what you're looking for, personality traits, and interests to help find compatible matches.
- Fitness -- List your sports, body type, height, and weight to connect with gym buddies or training partners.
- Social -- Highlight your hobbies, personality, and what you're looking for in friendships or conversations.
- Professional -- Add your career field to network with others in your industry.
You can have multiple personas active at the same time, so visitors to your profile can tap between tabs to learn more about you.
Creating a persona
- Open the Edit Profile screen.
- Navigate to the Personas section.
- Choose a persona type (Dating, Fitness, Social, or Professional).
- Browse the available tag categories and select the tags that apply to you.
- Your persona saves automatically.
Available tag categories
Each persona type has its own set of relevant tag categories. Here is what is available:

Languages can be added to any persona type.
How personas appear to others
When someone visits your profile, they will see a tab for each persona you have created. Tapping a tab shows all of the tags you selected for that persona, giving visitors a quick snapshot of that side of you.
Managing your personas
- Edit tags -- Open the persona and tap any tag to add or remove it.
- Remove a persona -- Remove all tags from a persona to delete it from your profile.
- Tags are optional -- you do not have to fill in every category.
