How to Create and Manage Albums

Albums let you organise your photos and videos into collections that you can keep private or share on your profile. You can create up to 6 albums with 20 uploads each.

Creating an Album

  1. Navigate to My Media from the main navigation.
  2. Tap the Albums tab.
  3. Tap the Create Album button.
  4. Give your album a name (you can change this later).
  5. Choose whether to make it Public or Private:
    • Public albums appear on your profile for others to see
    • Private albums are only visible to you

Adding Photos to an Album

  1. Open the album you want to add photos to.
  2. Tap the Upload button.
  3. Select photos from your device library or take new photos with your camera.
  4. You can upload up to 20 photos or videos per album.

Reordering Photos in an Album

You can customize the order photos appear in your album:

  1. Open the album.
  2. Press and hold a photo thumbnail.
  3. Drag it to a new position.
  4. Release to drop it in place.
  5. Your custom order is saved automatically.

Hint: You can use this same drag-to-reorder feature in your Profile album to change which photo appears as your main profile photo. The first photo in your Profile album becomes your profile picture.

Renaming an Album

  1. Open the album.
  2. Tap the album name at the top of the screen.
  3. Type a new name.
  4. The name updates automatically when you're done editing.

Changing Album Visibility

To switch an album between public and private:

  1. Open the album.
  2. Tap the settings icon (three dots or gear icon).
  3. Toggle the Public Album switch.
  4. Public albums will appear on your profile; private albums will be hidden.

Sharing an Album in Chat

You can share entire albums in your conversations:

  1. Open a chat conversation.
  2. Tap the attachment (+) button in the chat bar.
  3. Select Album.
  4. Choose the album you want to share.
  5. The album is sent as a special message that lets the recipient browse all photos.

Viewing Albums Shared With You

When someone shares an album with you in chat, you can view it without adding it to your own albums:

  1. Go to My Media > Albums.
  2. Tap the Shared With Me tab.
  3. Browse albums that others have shared with you.
  4. Tap an album to view its contents.

Managing Who You've Shared Albums With

To see who you've shared your albums with:

  1. Go to My Media > Albums.
  2. Tap the Sharing tab.
  3. You'll see a list of all album shares you've sent.
  4. Use the filter option to view shares by specific album.

Deleting Photos from an Album

  1. Open the album.
  2. Tap the settings icon.
  3. Select Manage Photos or Edit Album.
  4. Tap the photos you want to remove.
  5. Confirm deletion.

Deleting an Album

  1. Open the album you want to delete.
  2. Tap the settings icon.
  3. Select Delete Album.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting an album permanently removes all photos in that album. This action cannot be undone.

Album Limits

  • Maximum albums: 6 per account
  • Photos per album: 20
  • Album types: Public (visible on profile) or Private (only visible to you)

Tips

  • Use public albums to showcase your best photos on your profile.
  • Private albums are useful for organising photos you want to keep for yourself or share selectively in chats.
  • Reorder your photos to put your favourites first. The first photo becomes the album cover.
  • Album names help you stay organised, especially if you create multiple albums.
