Data Export

You have the right to request a copy of your personal data at any time. Winklr supports data portability in compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.

How to request your data

1. Open the app and go to Settings.
2. Tap Download Data.
3. Tap the Request Data button.
4. Your data will be compiled and sent to your registered email address.

What is included?

Your data export includes:

• Account information -- your name, email address, date of birth, and language preferences.
• Profile information -- your public profile data, photos, and bio.

Why does this exist?

Under GDPR and similar privacy regulations, you have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal data that Winklr holds about you. This feature makes it easy to exercise that right directly from the app.

Good to know

• Make sure your registered email address is correct and accessible before requesting your data, as the export will be sent there.
• If you are planning to delete your account, we recommend requesting your data export first so you have a copy of your information before your account is deactivated.
